Hello blog readers! I know it’s been awhile since we last spoke, but that’s because so much has been going on and time has just slipped through our fingers. Let’s catch up…
Charity is back in Seattle after 3 months of travel and photography through Europe. It’s fabulous to have her only 15 minutes away instead of a trans-Atlantic flight away. I definitely missed having her nearby, especially during the holidays when things got chaotic and stressful and all I could think about was how nice it would be to laugh and hang out with her and eat at a yummy Indian lunch buffet where we’d both go for seconds without thinking twice. 🙂
Charity‘s return spurred us to dedicate some quality time to PaddyWag and we’ve been working diligently for the past 2 months solidifying our mission statement, perfecting our workflow, creating new products and revamping our portfolio. We’re proud of what we’ve done and cannot wait to show it off to current and future PaddyWag clients, so check us out at our new website PaddyWag.com!
Since blog posts are WAY more fun when there are pictures, here are a few of our long time client Maddison during her latest photo session.
Happy almost-St Patrick’s Day!
Charity and I have been working hard to get everything together and prepped for the event. I wanted to give you a quick peek at the greeting cards we’ll be selling at our booth. I’m so excited about them!
We’ll also be selling some amazing photo packages (YAY FOR DEALS!), so I encourage ya’ll to come out and visit us on Saturday. We’ll be there from 10am to 3pm and would love to meet you and your pups!
This is Lola, a super sweet and loving shar pei that I photographed last week. Her rolls and wrinkles were just about the cutest thing ever! I wish I had brought my video camera because she did the funniest snort thing with her nose whenever she was excited. All of the excitement wore her out and I was able to get some really beautiful pictures of her sleeping by the fireplace before I left.
I hummed the song “Lola” throughout the entire photo session and now it’s stuck in my head again as I post these pics!
Puck is one of my absolute favorite cats to photograph. He’s super soft, very cuddly, and wow does he like to talk—more than me even!
Last time I had a session with him, he was all about his new cat food bowl. This time he was obsessed with his owner’s camel back couch, which was really exciting for me since it was a fabulous setting for photos. Puck must have been just as excited as I was because he was meowing through the entire shoot and even gave me a bunch of kitty kisses before I left. Oh man, do I love kitty kisses. 🙂
I recently paid a post-op visit to a certain gallbladder-less kitty. I’m happy to report that mon petit Bella is recovering nicely. Her stomach staples were removed at the Seattle Veterinary Specialists last week and the vet said her fur should start growing back soon. This is great news, especially since she seems a little embarrassed about bearing so much skin. 🙂
I’d like you all to meet Harley:
Harley goes to work with his owner Mary every day. This is what she sees in her rear view mirror during her commute:
Harley was so sweet curled up on Mary’s lap.
He was definitely ready for some shut eye by the end of the session…
Thanks again Mary and Harley!
I traveled up to Edmonds the other day to help my friend Heather bake cupcakes. Well, it was more like me snacking on yummy goodies and watching her make them.
While I was there, she introduced me to her cats, one of which loved having his picture taken. No need to tell me twice! I took a break from cupcake sampling, grabbed my camera and photographed Hamish, a handsome little guy with the bluest eyes I’ve ever seen.
Doesn’t he look like he should be on a cover of Cat Fancy? 😉
Not only is he a good looking cat, he’s also handy in the kitchen. He was watching Heather closely to make sure all of the cupcakes were meeting his high standards.
Here’s a sneak peek of a beautiful cupcake masterpiece, baked and designed by Heather:
I’ll post more yummy creations soon…
