I’d like you all to meet Kodiak, the newest PaddyWag client.

Spending an afternoon with this cutie was way too much fun! Brother and sister even got in on the cuteness action.

Β This one cracks me up! It was the first shot of the day:

Love the detail on this next one…

We were having so much fun that I wanted to be in a pic too, so here’s my shadow with Kodiak:

I think Kodiak was pretty worn out by the end of the shoot. It was definitely time to curl up with a toy and rest.

Thanks again to Kodiak and family!

Nani and Chloe :: Arboretum

Meet Chloe and Nani.

I couldn’t resist having that be the first shot, it was just too cute!

Chloe is Nani’s older sister, and tends to show her the ropes.Β  And Nani is more than happy to learn from her big sis.

_MG_0055-71-1Chloe and Nani’s mom and dad met up with me at the Washington Park Arboretum in Seattle.Β  Chloe and Nani had never been, so we had a grand ol’ time playing and discovering the new surroundings.

Chloe’s favorite toy? Her Frisbee!

_MG_0134-149-6I think the tail just makes this next shot!Β  So cute – she means business!

_MG_0219-234-10Action shot! – yup, that’s broccoli.

_MG_0089-105-2Blurry pups at play – these are more ‘out takes’ but I thought they were kind of fun.

blurrypupsWe moseyed on over to the water front after a good session of playtime, and enjoyed the scenery.

sistersGotta love mommy kisses! – I love the face that dogs and cats make when they get kisses from their people, they just look so content.

_MG_0515-530-27A puppy trying to get a average sized ball in their mouth…gets me every time! πŸ™‚

naniAnd look at Chloe’s pretty spots! – so sweet!

Thanks to their momma, Michelle, for helping orchestrate the shoot, it was certainly a team effort πŸ™‚

Chloe and Nani did a fantastic job!Β  They deserve some more string cheese πŸ˜‰

Getting Ready!

Just 4 more days until PaddyWag goes to Go Dog Go! at Crestwoods Park in Kirkland!

Charity and I have been working hard to get everything together and prepped for the event. I wanted to give you a quick peek at the greeting cards we’ll be selling at our booth. I’m so excited about them!

We’ll also be selling some amazing photo packages (YAY FOR DEALS!), so I encourage ya’ll to come out and visit us on Saturday. We’ll be there from 10am to 3pm and would love to meet you and your pups!

Getting Ready!

I’m back!

Hello all! I’m back from my vacation and after days upon days of relaxation and fun, I’m excited to get back to work! I’ve got some fun shoots lined up in the next couple weeks that I’ll be sharing. And speaking of sharing, I’m excited to share with you the newest addition to my family…

Jamie, my youngest sister, decided she wanted a cat as her high school graduation gift and Oscar has stolen the hearts of everyone in my family (except for Bella who’s not entirely sure what to think of this little fluffball).

I pretty much find any excuse I can to drop by my parents’ house to hang out with the little guy. I conjured up an excuse and went over there last night and to my surprise there were two kittens running around the house! Being that Oscar’s so playful and energetic, my parents thought he should have a playmate, so they ended up getting another kitten! The new guy doesn’t have a name yet so I’m pushing for “Puma”. I’ll try to find time in the next few days to get over there and snap some pics of him. Maybe I’ll take a couple of him and Oscar while I’m at it, just to overload you all with cuteness.

I’m back!

camel back cat

Puck is one of my absolute favorite cats to photograph. He’s super soft, very cuddly, and wow does he like to talk—more than me even!

Last time I had a session with him, he was all about his new cat food bowl. This time he was obsessed with his owner’s camel back couch, which was really exciting for me since it was a fabulous setting for photos. Puck must have been just as excited as I was because he was meowing through the entire shoot and even gave me a bunch of kitty kisses before I left. Oh man, do I love kitty kisses. πŸ™‚

Oh mod, I love you so. Your clean, classic look gets me every time. I love when you’re simple, but I love it even more when you’re daring in color or bold in print. Case in point–pet beds.

Here are some fantastic pet beds I found at Design Public (all images copyright 2008 by S2D2 LLC)…

This first one is the Crypton Doodle Dog Pet Bed in the color “Pool”:

This one is also by Crypton and is the Rotator Pet Bed in the color “Pomelo”:

Can’t forget about the kitties! This gorgeous piece is the Elizabeth Paige Smith Kittypod:

This one is the Kittypod Mini:catbed2

I still can’t get over how great these are! The cat beds look like sculptures and would be purrfect in my living room. πŸ™‚

Speaking of mod things that would look good in my house, check out these super cute bird-themed wallpapers (yep, they’re on Design Public too!)…

This is the Graham & Brown Mode Birdcage Wallpaper:

And these next 2 are Cavern Home Blackbird Wallpaper:

With Design Public‘s vast array of modern products, I could literally create my own mod wonderland.
