Charlotte :: Seattle Dog Photographer

Meet Charlotte.

She’s a princess in the making.

Well…she’s working on it…

But her mother loves her just the way that she is.

Refined at times…

or just being a pup.

Yep.  Charlotte lives a pretty charmed life.

A family the adores her…

and a face that you can’t help but love!

Huge ‘Thanks’ to Charlotte and her family, Victoria and Grant, for such a fun November photo session.

It was a true pleasure to play with such a sweet little princess!

Happy Holidays everyone!

Jovi :: Seattle Dog Photographer

This awesome session with Jovi and his owners took place a couple months ago at the awesome Lake Meridian Park! The skies were extra gray and daunting that morning, but we lucked out and the rain held off until the tail end of our session!

Oh Leo! Seriously, what a cute little puppy! I totally fell in love the moment I laid eyes on him and his cute white eyelashes! Check out some of my favorite pics from his photo session:

I’ll end on this one because it cracks me up everytime I look at it!

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Sasha :: Kirkland Dog Photographer

Whew! The last few weeks have been exhausting, but I’ve had the chance to meet many sweet pets including this little girl named Sasha:

I had a mini session with her and her owner Sheldon a couple weeks ago. We got some amazing variety in a short amount of time! Check out my favorite shots from the day:

Thanks again Sheldon & Sasha!

Scooter & Skeeter :: Seattle Cat Photographer

Meet Scooter…

and Skeeter!

These two cats belong to my amazing sister Tracy and awesome brother-in-law Charlie. I was stoked when they asked me to come over and spend an afternoon photographing my “nieces” in their beautiful Ballard home. With their help, I got plenty of fun shots of both girls…

Thanks again Tracy & Charlie for a fun day of hanging out & photographing!

Bronx :: Seattle Dog Photographers

I drove out to Lake Stevens a couple of weeks ago to photograph Sam and her malamute puppy, Bronx. It took me all of 2 seconds to fall head over heels for this adorable fluff ball!

We took Bronx to a nearby park and she was so excited to run around that I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to get any photos of her in focus! Luckily she was fascinated by my shoes so she’d stop every once in awhile to check them out and I’d get a photo like this…

or like this…

or like this of her peeking out from under the table.

I love this shot of Bronx in Sam’s arms. I swear it looks like she’s laughing!

This picture below is one of my absolute favorites from the photo session! I loved it so much that I had it printed as a 20×24 sample to display and show future clients.

This is my favorite one of Sam and Bronx together. I love the way the sun enhances curly hair!

Thanks again Sam and Bronx! I had SO much fun hanging out in the sunshine and running around the park with both of you!

Aloha! :: Seattle Pet Photographers

My bags are almost fully packed and I’m doing a little hula dance in anticipation of my flight this afternoon. I’ll be in Kauai watching two of my favorite people get married and it marks my 1st time being in a wedding as a bridesmaid instead of photographer. But who am I kidding…the camera is coming out immediately after the ceremony! I just can’t pass up the opportunity to photograph my gorgeous friends Negar & Adam on the beach, basking in the post “I do” glow.

 The blog will be neglected this week, but I’ll be on Twitter every now and again to share photos (I’m really hoping to cross off a few more things on my list and I’m also hoping to meet a sweet little puppy or two –> any PaddyWag fans in Kauai that would want a couple pet pics while I’m there? If yes, shoot me an email at paddywagpets@gmail.com).

So for now, aloha friends! See you in a week!

Peggy :: Seattle Dog Photographers

I photographed Amy and her Corgi puppy Peggy (how cute is that alliteration?!?) back in January.

We completely lucked out with the weather and had a gorgeous sunny day, so we took little Pegs (how cute is that nickname?!?) out for a walk to Gasworks Park and found this awesomely bright tile:

I love this shot with her tongue sticking out!

We walked a little farther and found a bunch of leaves that Peggy insisted on jumping into. If I had worn my boots, I would have joined her.

I love this shot of the girls:

On our walk back to Amy’s place, little Peggy showed her puppiness: she couldn’t figure out how to go up the huge stairs! She went up one, then just stood there looking at us.

Amy ordered a picture book from the session and when I delivered it to her in February I was so surprised at how much Peggy had grown; a month does wonders for puppies! Can’t wait to see how big she is at our next photo session!

New Mexico Baxter :: Seattle Pet Photographers

I recently made a trip to New Mexico (you can read about it here and here on my Art of Subtlety blog) and while I was there I met this cutie named Baxter:

Baxter has quite the life. His family lives on a beautiful property in a town called Placitas, where he spends his time hiking with his owners, watching wild horses roam free, playing with out of town visitors, and eating treats in his yard.

He has the most captivating eyes that make you melt and fall immediately in love.

My favorite thing about Baxter though was his tongue. Look at these cool spots!

A HUGE thanks goes out to Baxter and the Stueber family for inviting me into their home and showing me such kindness and generosity during my travels.
